KoGMoney Terms of Service

Effective date: July 16, 2026

These Terms govern your use of KoGMoney ("KoGMoney," "we," "us"). By using the app you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

1. Who can use KoGMoney

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.

2. What KoGMoney is

KoGMoney is a personal finance dashboard. You manually enter your own financial information, and the app organizes and visualizes it: cash flow, savings rate, investments, net worth, goals, and projections. It does not connect to your bank and does not move money.

3. Not financial advice

KoGMoney is an informational and organizational tool only. Nothing in the app is financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.

Projections, calculators, and models (including CAGR and goal projections) are illustrative estimates based on the inputs and assumptions you provide. They are not predictions, guarantees, or professional advice. Real results will differ.

You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. For advice specific to your situation, consult a qualified professional.

4. Your data and content

You own the financial information you enter. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it solely to operate the service for you. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. KoGMoney reflects your inputs.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the app for anything illegal; don't try to break, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service; don't scrape or extract data through automated means beyond normal use; don't upload malicious code or interfere with other users; don't misrepresent your identity. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Early access and availability

KoGMoney is under active development and currently offered on an early-access basis. Features may change, break, or be removed. We don't guarantee uptime, availability, or that the service will be error-free. We may modify or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time.

7. Billing and subscriptions

KoGMoney is currently free during early access. If and when paid plans are introduced, pricing and billing terms will be presented to you before you are charged, and these Terms will be updated.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your needs, be uninterrupted, or be error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KoGMoney and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or financial outcomes, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KoGMoney from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You can stop using KoGMoney and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
